Lynn McLeod

Director of Operations

I am a noticer and a storyteller. Both characteristics blend nicely while serving as Director of Operations for our firm. When folks ask what operation is, I explain it as making sure everything behind the scenes is in place to run smoothly for the entire group. No two days are the same and each day holds more to learn, the best combination. I joined to the team at Premier Private Wealth in 2023, bringing a bachelor’s degree in journalism/marketing from Southern Illinois University, and experience in both the legal and financial industries.

The majority of my professional career was in the role of Operations Manager for a law practice in central Illinois. The first day the doors opened, I was there creating processes and helping build a firm that became one of the most sought after in the area. It was terribly rewarding contributing to the overall success for each attorney and encouraging the staff of legal assistants to grow in their ability to serve them well.

My direction shifted in 2009 when I moved to Brentwood, and where first impressions of the heart of middle Tennessee came through pursuing one of my all-time loves, volunteering. I took part in leading large projects I would not have been asked to join, had I needed to be compensated. Doing so expanded my perspective from the inside out, understanding more clearly how different industries can work in tandem. I continue to be actively involved in charitable organizations, often being the person who notices a new way to improve a process, then offering a plan to implement it.

When returning to work, I chose the world of finance. Initially, in a role at a large national bank where I closely aligned with the wealth team, then later with a local investment and insurance firm. Each of these steps built the foundation I rely on to provide the standard of service Premier Private Wealth has created over the years. I am grateful to be a part of such a fabulous and talented team.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, traveling, and relaxing at home. To indulge my creative side, you may find me writing fiction stories or in the kitchen cooking up a concoction from unlikely ingredients. Nothing fancy, but fun.

As one of my favorite authors once wrote, “Listen to your life. See it as the fathomless mystery it is.”
